Everyone’s favourite next-door neighbour, religious nut and all-round good guy has his own tribute band named after his infamous phrase ‘Okilly Dokilly’.
Thats right, Ned Flanders has a band dedicated to his likeness, but it’s not church music being played, this is a heavy metal band with an emphasis on rocking out.
The band, Okilly Dokilly, hail from Phoenix, Arizona and they are having their first gig on September 5 in their hometown.
Their Facebook page, which has over 2,000 likes, describes the band as the first ever ‘Nedal’ band and the five members are all nicknamed Ned.
Head Ned: Vocals
Red Ned: Synth
Thread Ned: Bass
Stead Ned: Guitar
Bled Ned: Drums
The band have a number of original songs which they say contain original lyrics from the man of the moment, Ned Flanders.
