Netflix has just added 11 big movies to its library
A mix of some recent greats and brand new releases.
Netflix has added another collection of big movies to its stacked library. As usual, not all of them are great, but at least some of them are great, and that's enough for us!
AD ASTRA
Brad Pitt headlines this fantastic sci-fi thriller about an astronaut who is sent to the furthest parts of our galaxy to turn off a device created by his father that is causing chaos on Earth.
AMMONITE
Saoirse Ronan and Kate Winslet star in this 1840s-set romantic drama about two women who embark on an intense relationship while isolated from the outside world.
CHAOS WALKING
Tom Holland. Daisy Ridley. The director of Edge of Tomorrow. Yet this sci-fi action thriller ended up being one of the biggest box office flops of recent years, landing a score of just 21% on Rotten Tomatoes.
DOCTOR SLEEP
The long-delayed sequel to The Shining sees Ewan McGregor star as the grown-up version of Danny Torrence, still tormented by the events at The Overlook Hotel.
HAIRSPRAY
An all-star cast - John Travolta, Michelle Pfeiffer, Christopher Walken, Amanda Bynes, James Marsden, Queen Latifah, Brittany Snow, Zac Efron and Allison Janney - star in this very entertaining musical comedy.
KILL BILL: VOLUME ONE
Quentin Tarantino transforms Uma Thurman into a machine built for vengeance in this hyper-violent ode to classic martial arts and samurai movies.
MARMADUKE
Pete Davidson voices the legendarily badly-behaving dog in this animated, family-friendly comedy. It isn't very good.
OUR FATHER
This documentary about a fertility doctor is a properly nausea-inducing nightmare.
RESIDENT EVIL: EXTINCTION
The third entry in the Resident Evil series (before it got rebooted) and with a score of 25% on Rotten Tomatoes, probably the worst one.
SHE'S ALL THAT
The iconic 1999 teen rom-com about a high school jock (Freddie Prinze Jr.) who takes the bet of transforming the class nerd (Rachel Leigh Cook) into a prom queen.
WILD MOUNTAIN THYME
Emily Blunt, Jamie Dornan and Christopher Walken all famously butchered the Irish accent in this accidentally hilarious romantic drama.
