A new racing docuseries is coming to the streaming service very soon.

Netflix has unveiled a trailer for its sports documentary series Race: Bubba Wallace ahead of its release next month.

Set to be a must-watch for those who binged through the streamer’s hit series F1: Drive to Survive, Race is another show about racing, this time focusing on American professional stock car racing driver Bubba Wallace.

According to Netflix, the series will chronicle both the “personal and professional tracks” of its subject’s life.

“With exclusive access to Wallace during the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series season, his first with Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin’s 23XI Racing, the series traces his rise to the elite ranks of NASCAR as the only full-time Black driver and the turbulent aftermath that followed his decision to speak out about racial injustice,” the plot synopsis from the streaming service reads.

Comprising of six episodes, Race will zoom onto Netflix on 22 February.

The release of the teaser comes after Netflix earlier this month announced it was teaming up with the PGA Tour and golf’s major championships for another new documentary series.

Coming from the producers of F1: Drive to Survive, the show is set to follow the lives and stories of the world’s top professional golfers across the 2022 season.
