Here’s the line-up for the first episode of the new season of The Ray D’Arcy show

Carl Kinsella

Ray D'Arcy Show

Dustin the Turkey will join Ray, just like the old days.

One of Ray D’Arcy’s oldest friends, Dustin the Turkey, will be on the couch on Saturday evening, as the Ray D’Arcy show returns for its latest season.

The pair will revive the love-affair they once shared on The Den as the turkey returns to our screens to make “a shocking confession.”

Dustin, who’s making his comeback in a musical comedy production — appropriately titled The Comeback Vehicle — will perform a song from the show, along with writer Eoin Colfer (Artimus Fowl) and co-star, comedian Eric Lalor (of JOE and Fair City fame).

Also gracing the audience with music is Gavin James, who will perform some of his most loved songs live in studio.

In a segment that’s sure to go viral the split-second it is aired, 99-year-old dancer Jim McManus will be showing Ray the same moves he exhibited World Tango Championships in Argentina last month.

Denise Van Outen will also be chatting to Ray about the time she’s been spending in Australia ahead of her debut in the beloved Aussie soap opera Neighbours.

The Ray D’Arcy show returns on RTÉ One at 9.40pm this Saturday, 14 September.
