8 great new (and classic) additions coming to Prime Video in February

Rory Cashin

Loads of new shows and movies to choose from throughout those 28 days…

Prime Video has become fantastic at adding some great classic movies to its library (like this list of 16 additions from earlier this week), but it’s also regularly adding brand new movies and shows each and every month.

Later this year, it will also be giving the world the single most expensive TV show ever made, but before then, this is what we can expect to be getting from the streaming service throughout February…

THE FIRST SIX FAST AND FURIOUS MOVIES

The Fast & The Furious. 2 Fast 2 Furious. The Fast & The Furious: Tokyo Drift. Fast & Furious. Fast Five. Fast & Furious 6. All revved up and ready to go. Plus it will give you a chance to revisit our TBR Spotlight series on the Fast Saga to date!

All six movies will arrive on Tuesday, 1 February.

REACHER

Alan Ritchson (Blue Mountain State, Titans) is a much better approximation of Lee Child’s much-loved character Jack Reacher than Tom Cruise was. The eight-episode first season is based on Killing Floor, the first book in the Jack Reacher series, in which he is accused of murder by a small town sheriff.

The first season of Reacher kicks off on Prime Video on Friday, 4 February.

I WANT YOU BACK

Charlie Day and Jenny Slate are dumped by their respective partners (Gina Rodriguez and Scott Eastwood), so they decide to team up together in order to break their exes up with their new beaus.

I Want You Back arrives on Friday, 11 February.

THE BEACH

Leonardo DiCaprio teams up with director Danny Boyle and writer Alex Garland for this dark drama about finding paradise… and how quickly it can be corrupted. Now please us excuse us, we’re going to listen to ‘Pure Shores’ on a loop for the remainder of the day.

The Beach arrives on Prime Video on Tuesday, 15 February.

BORAT

The 2006 original and not the 2020 sequel (which is also available on Prime Video), it still holds up as arguably one of the funniest movies ever made.

Borat is available on the service from Wednesday, 16 February.

THE MARVELLOUS MRS. MAISEL SEASON FOUR

Rachel Brosnahan returns for the fourth season of the much-loved musical series, this time taking us to 1960, and the potential for change is in the air for her, her friends and her family… but not all of it necessarily for the better.

The fourth season of The Marvellous Mrs. Maisel kicks off on Friday, 18 February.

DODGEBALL

Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller are two warring gym owners who put everything on the line at an international dodgeball tournament. Infinitely funnier than that description makes it sound.

Dodgeball is available on Prime Video from Saturday, 19 February.

WOLF LIKE ME

Isla Fisher (The Wedding Crashers) and Josh Gad (Beauty & The Beast) are two people embarking on a new relationship, despite the fact that they’ve both got huge secrets they’re keeping from each other. But the universe keeps pushing them back together, for reasons that aren’t immediately clear…

The first season of Wolf Like Me starts on Friday, 25 February.
