Now that’s an opening.
After the first episode established a new setting and characters, the latest adventure for The Young Offenders started with a scene that nobody expected. After just two episodes, you can see why Peter Foott’s show was instantly renewed for another season because there’s such a chemistry between Conor (Alex Murphy) and Jock (Chris Walley).
When they’re not shifting girls and complaining about tongues that are like ‘an angry snake’, the lads are revelling in some brilliant scenes about a ‘nice selection of sausages,’ and the merits of always having a condom nearby – you really had to feel for PJ Gallagher’s character then!
On another note, when he said that: “you’re gonna be a granny in 9 months because you want sausages and smiles” – who else didn’t think that line was eerily prophetic?
Anyways, in terms of physical comedy, the wrestling scene in the back garden showed that The Young Offenders is more than capable of mixing things up but viewers could only talk about one scene.
You know what we’re getting at!
Did anyone think that they were going to see that lady in the nip?
You don’t see that in Cork every day!
If you missed the episode, you can catch it here.
Wait till the the adds come on before taking a sip of your tea almost scalded my #*#%*😁😁😁 #youngOffenders pic.twitter.com/LhmNtGO5m9
