Odds for the first night of Love Island don’t look good for Irish contestant Yewande Biala

Love Island

We’re going to try to remain unbiased…

But given that there’s a contestant in this year’s Love Island from Meath, we’d be lying if we said we weren’t rooting for 23-year-old scientist Yewande Biala.

But worryingly, today’s odds from Paddy Power has Yewande as the most likely candidate to be evicted first. The good news is that the odds are only 7/4, which is anything but a sure bet. Next up is Anna Vikali, who is at 2/1.

Paddy Power have listed Lucie Donlan as the most likely contestant to be in the winning couple (2/1) with Tyson Fury’s brother Tommy just behind at 7/2.

Amber Gill, who claims she turned down the chance to appear on last year’s edition of the show, is second favourite of the girls to win at 7/2, while Joe Garratt is behind Tommy at 4/1.

Paddy Power has also released odds for a bunch of special bets on tonight’s first episode.

1/4        A workout session to be shown In Ep 1

1/3        Curtis Pritchard and Tommy Fury to mention their famous brothers within 10 minutes

4/6        All Islanders to be in the pool at the same time in Ep 1

10/11    Any contestant who is already in a couple to step forward and then not be chosen

11/8      Exactly 0 people to step forward for the 1st contestant

6/4        Over 2 people to step forward for Tommy Fury

13/8      Exactly 0 people to step forward for Curtis Pritchard

13/8      Tommy Fury & Lucie Donlan to be a couple at the end of Ep 1

13/8      Michael Griffiths & Amber Rose Gill to be a couple at the end of Ep 1

5/2        Tommy Fury to push/throw someone into the pool in Ep 1

4/1        Any contestant to have everyone step forward for them

8/1        Exactly 0 people to step forward for Tommy Fury

25/1      Megan Barton-Hanson to enter The Villa In Ep 1

The new season of Love Island kicks off at 9pm tonight on Virgin Media One.
