We can’t wait for season four…

This article contains possible spoilers for those not up to date with the third season of Peaky Blinders.

Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight has given an update on the show ahead of the fourth season of the hit BBC TV series.

He’s just completed writing the scripts for the series and he’s seriously looking forward to filming the next season.

In an interview with Deadline about his new show Taboo (which stars Tom Hardy and looks amazing), Knight said: “I’m very, very excited because I’m just completing Episode 6 of Series 4, which again I think is the best yet.

“And I’m loving it and it’s not like work, it’s not like a labor, I love doing it, and the boys are coming back and they’re loving the scripts, and we start shooting in March.”

During the interview, he also confirmed that Tom Hardy would be returning to his role as Alfie Solomons: “Of course. We can’t do it without Alfie.”

The last season saw Tommy (Cillian Murphy) outwit the Russians during a jewelry heist only to find his family arrested when he returned home.

Murphy has received widespread acclaim for his portrayal of charismatic gangster Thomas Shelby.

Series four of the show is expected to hit our screens in 2018.
