They were excellent…
Thirty years since their iconic album, Feel No Shame, lead singer Christy Dignam and guitarist Billy McGuinness appeared on the Late Late to chat to Ryan about how Aslan made their big breakthrough and some of the highs and lows that followed.
Christy and Billy spoke at length about their early days and the cut-throat nature of the music industry in what was an interview well worth watching.
Of course they did a live performance prior to chatting, but it was an acoustic rendition of Crazy World which they performed later which caught the eye, and the ear, of many of the people watching the show.
Earlier in the show, they also performed a medley of songs from their famous debut album Feel No Shame, which was released 30 years ago this year.
