Yurt!
Choose life. Choose Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and hope that someone, somewhere cares. Choose a track from The Rubberbandits to feature in a memorable scene from one of the most eagerly anticipated films of the year.
Yes, the wait is finally over. Renton, Begbie, Sick Boy and Spud are back on the big screen, and without giving too much away, we’re delighted to say that T2 is a real treat for fans of the original.
The sequel is clever, funny and frightening in equal measure, but most importantly, Danny Boyle isn’t afraid to break new ground with the characters and story.
As mentioned a few weeks ago, Edinburgh’s most famous degenerates were introduced to Limerick’s finest as The Rubberbandits were chosen to feature on the soundtrack.
Things got even better though because the video for their track, ‘Dad’s Best Friend’, also got some screen time in a memorable scene between Renton and Sick Boy.
We weren’t the only people that thought it was incredibly cool to see Mr Chrome and Blindboy Boatclub being featured on such a massive platform.
Just saw Trainspotting 2. Really liked it. Very nostalgic for the original, but just the right amount. @Rubberbandits get properly featured.

In case you were wondering, the lads decided to skip the premiere for a very noble reason. Fair play to them.
Not attending Trainspotting premiere because it would mean cancelling a mental health talk for Waterford I.T students 2mro. Priorities lads
