He’ll have much to discuss after last weekend’s events.
Peter Casey, who finished in second place in last weekend’s Irish Presidential election, will take to the Late Late Show couch this Friday 2 November.
On Sunday, Casey announced in an interview with the Sunday Independent that he would be joining Fianna Fáil with the intention of becoming Taoiseach.
That news was met with a cold reception by some Fianna Fáil members, while much maligned party Renua later stepped in to offer Casey leadership of their movement.
A busy week, then, one that the businessman will reflect on in conversation with Ryan Tubridy on Friday night.
Casey will address being the “stand out story of the campaign” and explain why he is standing by his controversial comments regarding the Travelling community, as well as his future intentions.
On top of that, former President of Ireland Mary Robinson will guest, while boxing champion Andy Lee will also be on hand for a chat.
