AH-HA!!!
To celebrate the upcoming release of the very, very, VERY funny Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa in Irish and UK cinemas next week, the great man himself (that’s Alan Partridge by the way) has sent a brilliant letter to men’s lifestyle magazine, FHM.
Well, it’s not really a letter. It’s more a fax of an email that he wrote and printed out because he couldn’t find the right email address.
After establishing, in this case at least, that FHM does indeed stand for For Him Magazine and not Familial Hemiplegic Migraine, the narcissitic North Norfolk Disc Jockey goes on to plead the magazine to “please tell your readers it’s great.”
No need to beg Alan, JOE can verify that it’s brilliant.
For JOE though, it’s all about the hilarious tiny details like the “[sic]” in his own letter or the reminder to “(? Check)” the frequency of the magazine.
