JOE has kept you up-to-date with all the latest news regarding Paul Feig’s attempt to not ruin one of our favourite films of all-time re-imagine Ghostbusters and he’s just announced the four ladies that will be putting on their proton packs.
Bridesmaids and Saturday Night Live cast members feature heavily as Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones are all in advanced talks to star.
McCarthy and Wiig have previously worked with the director on Bridesmaids while McKinnionn received an Emmy nomination for her work on SNL last year.
The director revealed the news on his Twitter page and while we’re interested to see what a new Ghostbusters film might be like we’re still really hoping for a cameo from some of the original cast members.
Slimer and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man should also feature. We love those guys.

The cast may change but if they update this song then we will go mad. Oh yeah, we may also have a new Indiana Jones. Busy day.
