Former Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson has been hospitalised in Mallorca, according to the TV presenter’s own Instagram.
As well as a photo of an IV piercing his arm, Clarkson had tweeted on August 4 that he was “in a wheelchair, connected up to tubes, in a hospital.”
According to the BBC, Clarkson was taking a holiday break from filming his Amazon Prime series, The Grand Tour, when he fell ill. A spokesman for The Grand Tour confirmed the TV presenter was being treated for pneumonia.
Clarkson, who is 57, had originally been expected to return to filming next week — though it is now unclear how long he will have to remain in hospital.
I could send you one but it's of me in a wheelchair, connected up to tubes, in a hospital. Better?
