President Michael D Higgins is one of the most beloved people in Irish society because he has always been a staunch supporter of the arts. Constant political wrangling though is enough to give any person some subterranean homesick blues which is why President Higgins took shelter from the storm 31 years ago at Slane Castle. Thousands of people are flocking to the venue this afternoon to see the Foo Fighters, Hozier and Ash but there was a very special audience member watching Bob Dylan 31 years ago Look at that shirt, it was definitely blowin' in the wind.
