That’s Jon Snow on the right. No, seriously.
Dedicated fans of Game of Thrones are so used to the show at this stage that it feels as if the cast have been around forever and that they’ve known them for years at this stage.
That might be true, but can anyone honestly say they remember any of the younger members of the cast looking quite as young as they do in this picture? Jaysus.
The picture, of course, contains members of the extended Stark family as they were at the beginning including the eldest, Robb, his sisters Sansa and Arya, his half-brother, the bastard Jon Snow and Theon Greyjoy, a hostage of House Stark since his Dad’s failed rebellion against Robert Baratheon back in the day.
The picture, which comes from fan site gameofthroneswikia.com, dates back to 2009 and was taken while the pilot episode was being filmed in Belfast, but it started doing the rounds on social media today, where Game of Thrones fans reacted to it in the same amazed way as we are right now.
Just to re-iterate, that guy on the right ended up becoming this guy…
