Pic: Someone in Hollywood has made a giant Oscar statue snorting lots of cocaine

The Oscars take place tomorrow evening in Hollywoodland, and artist Plastic Jesus has decided that they would mark the occasion with brand new work of art; a giant Oscar statue, on its hands and knees, snorting what appears to be a mound of cocaine. Or maybe it's Strawberry Sherbert. We can't be sure from the image. According to reports, the statue has since been removed as LA readies itself for a night of debauchery, snubbery and fantastic filmy fun...

Speaking to BuzzFeed News, Plastic Jesus said, “my piece is intended to highlight general cocaine and drug use not only in Hollywood, but around the world. I picked the Oscars because you often hear about A-list celebs who go to rehab or have drug-related breakdowns, but you don’t hear about producers or writers or electricians, who are also affected." A very valid point indeed Plastic Jesus, but we'd really love some Strawberry Sherbert right now.
