One of the saddest moments in the original Dumb and Dumber movie was when it emerged that Lloyd had traded Harry’s beloved Mutt Cutts van for a scooter, but the Farrelly Brothers have totally redeemed themselves by ensuring that it will make a return for the highly anticipated sequel later this year. The famous van features in the new poster for the movie, which was released today ahead of the premiere of the trailer on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon tonight. Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels will both be guests of Fallon’s on the show tonight, while those in the audience will also be in for a special treat as the Mutt Cutts van itself will be parked outside the NBC studios on Rockefeller Plaza. We’ll know more about what’s in store in the sequel once we’ve seen the trailer, but from what we can gather so far, Lloyd and Harry will be hitting the road again in search of one of their long lost children in the hope that they can provide them with a kidney. Also, it has been confirmed that self-confessed huge Dumb and Dumber fan, the lovely Jennifer Lawrence, will be making a cameo appearance. We like the sound of that alright. We like it a lot.
