Pic: This is definitely our favourite photoshop of the Oscar selfie yet… and it’s Irish

Well played fella, very well played indeed.

JOE

Well played fella, very well played indeed.

By now, we can only assume that you’ve come across the selfie that went around the world during the Oscars last night.

You know the one, the picture featuring host Ellen DeGeneres and as many bona fide A-list celebs she could possibly get in one shot, a picture that has been retweeted a scarcely believable 2.7 million times (at the time of writing), which makes it the most retweeted tweet of all time.

Inevitably, it has been the subject of some hilarious photoshops since – check out some of the best of them here – but we’ve been sent in another one by a JOE reader which we think is funnier than any images you might have seen featuring John Terry, Nicolas Cage or a Grumpy Cat so far today.

It was sent into us by John Cassidy and so simple is the concept behind it that we’re surprised nobody has thought of it so far; needless to say, John has a lot of friends in very high places and they were damn happy to see him last night.

Let’s just hope John avoided that dreaded Skype delay with Ellen, Bradley, Brad, Jennifer and company; that would’ve been just awkward.
