PICS: This Father Ted-themed 12 Pubs of Christmas looked like serious craic

Paul Moore

Drink, feck, arsing around in Waterford. Class.

Another viewing of the Father Ted Christmas special is absolutely essential over the coming few days, but a group of friends decided to bring a little bit of Craggy Island to West Waterford during their recent 12 Pubs of Christmas session.

We all know the mystery of ‘The Mud Angel’ that magically appears outside of O’Leary’s pub every Friday night, but it appears that none of these smiling faces fit that particular description.

We love the attention to detail on the costumes here, especially the blood-soaked bandages on ‘John’s’ head,  the bling that Fr ‘ Adios Ted!’ Hernandez is wearing and the fact that Fargo Boyle didn’t forget about his beloved sheep, Chris.

For those that are wondering, the iconic Pat Mustard even managed to make an appearance.

If this gentlemen didn’t leave every single pub in Waterford by saying: “I’ll be on my way padre, off on my rounds” or “and now to ride Mrs O’Reilly” then he wasted a golden cleric opportunity.

Well done to all involved.
