Pics: Scrubs actor John McGinley pulling pints in Dublin pub

Dr. Cox prescribes stout - lots of stout

Tony Cuddihy

Scrubs star John McGinley figures anything Alf Stewart can do, he can do a lot better.

McGinley was pulling pints in Dakota on South William Street in Dublin last night, but there was no sign of JD’s favourite Appletini.

Shame.

The American played Dr. Perry Cox in the popular medical comedy between 2001 and 2010, during which time he famously tore strips off Zach Braff, voiced his mistrust of Hugh Jackman (on several occasions) and made a brilliant career out of stretching single vowels into whole sentences.

What a character.
