PICS: Here are all the winners from the IFTAs 2016 including Irish legend Liam Neeson
Celebrating Irish talent...
Hosted by award-winning actress and comedienne Deirdre O’Kane, the IFTA Film & Drama Awards took place at the Mansion House in Dublin.
It's already been a year of Oscar success, festival triumphs, international Box office coups, worldwide distribution deals and TV ratings wins for Irish stars and shows, but tonight the people who made it all possible returned home for the prestigious ceremony.
We're especially excited by President Michael D. Higgins presenting Liam Neeson with his IFTA for his Outstanding Contribution To Cinema.
Two living legends together at last. We're really looking forward to the pair of them making a kick-ass action film together soon.
Dáil Hard, anyone?
