Amanda Byram confirmed as presenter of Irish Strictly Come Dancing

Now we’re just waiting for the contestants to be announced.

Amanda Byram has been confirmed as the presenter of the Irish version of the TV show Strictly Come Dancing. The news comes just a month before it is set to begin.

Byram has hosted a number of shows in the past, including Ireland AM, Total Wipeout with Richard Hammond, and American television show Paradise Hotel.

The news that she would be presenting Strictly came as a shock to a number of people, who felt that Nicky Byrne was a shoe in for the job. But the candidate for the second show host is still to be announced, so fans of the former Westlife singer can hold out hope.

What Strictly fans can be worried about, is the fact that we are just a month away from the opening night of the show, and only one contestant, Hughie Maughan whose claim to fame is a runner-up position on Big Brother, has been announced.
