Can he possibly measure up the legend that was Patrick Stewart?
This article will be pretty spoiler heavy, especially for anyone who hasn't seen Logan, or isn't up to date with the incredible superhero show Legion.
We will delve into the spoilers directly after this clip of Aubrey Plaza, playing the big bad guy in Legion, having a bit of a dance...

Still here? On we go.
Patrick Stewart was obviously iconic in the role as Charles Xavier, but between moving on to returning to another iconic role he's really well known for, and... you know... dying in his most recent outing as Professor X in Logan, he won't be back.
Not without time travel.
Which has happened in X-Men movies several times already, to be fair.
But we're pretty sure he won't be back.
So during the first few seasons of Legion, we discover that the incredibly powerful mutant David (Dan Stevens) was abandoned by his father in order to protect him from the Shadow King (Aubrey Plaza), which didn't super work out.
We didn't know too much about David's father, except that he was in a wheelchair... and was bald...
But the latest casting announcement for the show was confirmed that, yes, David's father was none other than Charles Xavier, and in the upcoming third (and final) season of the show, Xavier will be played by Harry Lloyd, best known as being Dany's douchebag brother Viserys Targaryen in Game Of Thrones who (more spoilers) is killed when Drogo pours hot, molten gold on his head way back in Season One.
That same casting announcement has told us that David's mother, Holocaust survivor Gabrielle Haller (in the comics at least), is set to be played by Stephanie Corneliussen, best known for playing the terrifying Joanna Wellick on Mr. Robot.
So we'll only be getting re-introduced to Professor X, and he'll quickly be taken from us once again as the show comes to an end once the third season is done and dusted.
How can one character break our hearts SO. MANY. TIMES?!?!
