The Bohemian Rhapsody star would be a very solid choice.

Fresh from his Golden Globe nomination for his starring role as Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody, it appears that the world is not enough for Mr. Robot star Rami Malek as he’s being eyed up to star as the villain in Bond 25.

Variety have reported that the Emmy Award-winning actor is the man that director Cary Joji Fukunaga wants to square off against 007.

After Danny Boyle left the project due to ‘creative differences’, the True Detective director has stepped in behind the lens and with the spring shoot drawing closer, it appears that the producers have their goldeneye locked in on Malek.

There is a potential issue, as the actor is currently scheduled to film the last season of Mr. Robot very soon. The TV show will shoot from March to July, so his schedule will be very tight.

Given how massive the James Bond franchise is, however, if they want their man, they probably won’t be left shaken and stirred.

Bond 25 is scheduled to be released on 14 February, 2020 as Daniel Craig gets set to pick up the Walther PPK for the last time.
