Ricky Gervais will reprise his role as the not-so-lovable boss from the hit series in a new film called Life On The Road.
According to producers, shooting of the film will begin in 2015 and it will be set 15 years after Brent’s redundancy at the end of the second series. The film is set to be a mockumentary following Brent on his travels up and down the UK on a self-financed music tour.

According to The Independent,“[Brent] is a sales rep now, selling cleaning products up and down the country, but has never really given up on his dream of being a rock star.”
He sets off on the expensive tour but has to “cash in a couple of pensions because the session musicians are costing him more than he’s getting in ticket sales.”
The Office shot to fame at the turn of the Millennium and is one of the most popular TV shows in the world having been shown in over 100 countries worldwide.
Gervais has never let go of his character and has performed around the UK several times playing Brent. He has even launched a YouTube channel called ‘Learn guitar with David Brent’.
