Roy Keane’s pretty damning review of hit movie Gone Girl

How many stars out of five, Roy?

How many stars out of five, Roy?

Gone Girl has been one of the biggest fillums to hit cinemas this year with critics fawning over it and the money flying through the tills as it’s earned over €200 million since its release last month. That’s not too shabby for Fincher, Affleck and the gang.

The general consensus is that Gone Girl is a great movie but it’s not for everyone and it’s certainly not for Aston Villa and Ireland assistant manager Roy Keane.

Speaking in an interview on Shortlist, Keane was asked “what was the last film you saw?” and his response was as Roy Keane as it gets:

“Gone Girl. Rubbish. Absolute rubbish. I went with a couple of lads from the Irish team, but if I was on my own, honestly, I would’ve walked out.”

We guess that inviting him over to our gaff for an American Pie marathon is a waste of time then. Roy would hate Stifler.
