Ryan Reynolds is pushing for a Deadpool character to get their own film

Paul Moore

This would be class to see.

Still haven’t seen Deadpool 2? What!?!? Surely it’s time to make the chimi-fuckin’-changas. Anyways, if you haven’t seen the latest film starring ‘the merc with a mouth’ consider this to be your spoiler alert warning.

We’re nice like that.

Ok, now we know what Deadpool with ‘baby balls’ looks like.

To paraphrase Weasel from the original film, “I am sorry… you are haunting. Your balls are the stuff of nightmares.” Yep, we’re not getting over that but that’s not the only traumatic event that occurred in Deadpool 2.

Ah, the X-Force. Brilliantly assembled, wonderfully gifted…shit at reading wind direction.

After being promised a “forward-thinking, gender-neutral, and young enough to carry a franchise for ten to twelve years” group of rogues and mutants, we were left with the charred, severed and dismembered remains of some talented people.

Bedlam, Shatterstar, Zeitgeist, Vanisher and our beloved ‘sugar-bear’ (better known as Peter) all met their end but thanks to Cable’s time travelling abilities, here’s hoping that they’re back for good in the next film.

See, Mr Deadpool, Domino’s power was worth having in your crew.

Anyways, if Ryan Reynolds has his way, we could be seeing a standalone film for Peter.

In an interview with BBC Radio 1, he said: “I would love to see a Peter spin-off movie, ASAP. I love Peter. That’s probably one of my favourite characters from the new film. We call it, ‘Absolutely Peter.’ Deadpool 3: Absolutely Peter.’

Make. it. Happen.
