Can’t wait for this new show!

Jagshemash!

Bruno, Ali G and Borat creator Sacha Baron Cohen is returning to our TV screens with a new show – Who is America?  airs on Channel 4 on Monday, 16 July at 10pm – and it seems that the comedian is intent on pissing off every single person that he can find.

Long may this continue.

After throwing Pamela Anderson into the wedding satchel, making Paula Abdul eat food off a human table, and pissing off Donald Trump during an interview, it appears that Baron Cohen has a new target in mind – the former Governor of Alaska and controversial politician, Sarah Palin.

In a post that was published on Facebook, the former Republican Party nominee for Vice President of the United States in the 2008 US presidential election has slammed Baron Cohen and Showtime after he conducted a “humiliating interview” with her.

“I sat through a long ‘interview’ full of Hollywoodism’s [sic] disrespect and sarcasm — but finally had enough and literally, physically removed my mic and walked out,” she wrote.

“The disrespect of our US military and middle-class Americans via Cohen’s foreign commentaries under the guise of interview questions was perverse … Mock politicians and innocent public personalities all you want, if that lets you sleep at night, but HOW DARE YOU mock those who have fought and served our country. Truly sick.”

Palin says she and one of her daughters were interviewed by a man – she believes to be Baron Cohen – that was heavily disguised as a fake U.S. military veteran that was in a wheelchair.

“Baron Cohen (I presume) had heavily disguised himself as a disabled US Veteran, fake wheelchair and all,” she said.

She adds: “Here is my challenge, shallow Sacha boy: go ahead — air the footage. Experience tells us it will be heavily edited, not pretty, and intended to humiliate. The challenge is to Cohen, CBS and Showtime: donate all proceeds to a charitable group that actually respects and supports American Vets.”

Palin concluded her post by saying: “By the way, my daughter thinks you’re a piece of ****, Sacha.”

We’re certain that’s going to be music to his ears.

Who is America? will air on Channel 4 on Monday, 16 July at 10pm.

Here’s her post in full.
