Three-time Oscar nominee Saoirse Ronan is set for another major Hollywood role.

Variety has reported that Ronan is set to team up with Lady Bird director Greta Gerwig again for a retelling of Louisa May Alcott’s classic novel Little Women, produced by Columbia Pictures.

According to the report, Ronan is expected to join an all-star cast including Meryl Streep, Emma Stone, and her Lady Bird co-star Timothee Chalamet. No roles have yet been specified for the cast members.

The story follows four young women growing up impoverished in 19th century Massachusetts.

Gerwig’s adaptation of the 1868-1869 classic novel is far from the first time that the story has been adapted for the big screen. The most famous version is likely the 1994 adaptation which starred Winona Ryder and Gabriel Byrne.

Saoirse Ronan has already won Oscar nominations for her performances in Atonement, Brooklyn and Lady Bird. If she teams up with Gerwig again, it seems nailed on that she’ll find herself nominated once more.
