She’s the only actress in the top ten.

Scarlett Johansson has become the highest-grossing female movie star of all time thanks to two major box-office successes in 2016.

With Captain America: Civil War and The Jungle Book rolling in the dough in cinemas across the world, movies starring the 31-year old have now raked in over $3.3 billion in the US alone, catapulting her to number ten in the list of the highest-grossing movie stars of all time.

According to Box Office Mojo, Johansson’s movies have now grossed more than those of any other female movie star in history and she is the youngest in a top ten that includes heavyweights such as Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise, Samuel L. Jackson and Harrison Ford.
