Get ready, the greatest sitcom of all time is coming to Netflix

Dave Hanratty

Seinfeld Netflix 2021

What’s the deal with all 180 episodes?

Office debates have presumably rather subsided in the past year-and-a-half or so, but ‘What is the best sitcom of all time?’ is usually a good one in such situations.

Select big hitters tend to come up in the conversation quite often – Frasier, The Simpsons (cut-off point of around season 10 at the absolute latest, of course), Fawlty Towers, Father Ted, Only Fools and Horses, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Cheers, Arrested Development, The Larry Sanders Show, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and probably a good handful more.

(Nobody ever says Friends, though, do they?)

In truth, we all know that the best sitcom of all time is Seinfeld, which chronicles the fictional exaggerated life of comedian Jerry Seinfeld and his problematic circle of friends.

Netflix knows this, too, hence the move to bring every single episode – all 180 of them – of the long-running sitcom to its platform from Friday, 1 October.

That’s one hell of a way to kick off a weekend, in fairness.

But don’t take my word for it. Enjoy the dramatic teaser below.
