You probably know what he’s pissed about.

Boyzone’s Shane Lynch has criticised RTÉ for showing old footage of the band on their first Late Late Show appearance.

Lynch and the rest of the band appeared on the Late Late Show on Friday night and Lynch made headlines for swearing and flipping off the camera after the footage was played in studio.

Asked by host Ryan Tubridy if he found it funny, Lynch said: “I busted my bollocks to get here and you see that clip, you can shove it up your f***ing hole, that’s what you can do with that clip. No. I don’t give a f**k.”

Speaking on Classic Hits with Niall Boylan on Monday night, Lynch said: “It’s like the first time me as a dyslexic person, I decided to put pen to paper and write my story, what I believe is a really good story and you have a teacher who shuts you down and tells you that it’s not good enough.

“They decide from the beginning of that interview to try and take us down a peg or two, like we f**king need it. We don’t need that kind of shit.

“The bottom line is, I think I was just disappointed in the fact that we were very young, very innocent and we’ve gone on to do amazing things. Amazing things.

“And what do you want to do? Try and chop us down? I’ll tell you what, everybody who has tried to chop me down, I’ve cut them off and told him how I didn’t like it,” he said.

He added that he likes Ryan Tubridy and, regretted that some people were upset with his behaviour.

Lynch also stated that he believes he has a bad boy image left over from his early days but stated he’s not like that any more.
