Stephen Porzio

We now know when we can expect new episodes.

It’s been over two years since Stranger Things’ third season was released on Netflix and while fans will still have to wait a bit for more episodes, the streaming giant has shared new details about its fourth season.

While we still do not have an exact release date, as part of its Stranger Things Day event on Saturday (6 November), Netflix revealed season four will premiere in the summer of 2022.

It also shared a California-set teaser in which the Byers family and Eleven are shown trying to adjust to their new life in the sunny state, following their move from Hawkins at the end of season three.

In the footage, Eleven is heard penning a letter to Mike as we see her struggling to fit in in high school, before a brief but explosive montage of the upcoming season’s more action-heavy moments.

On top of this, the streamer also revealed the titles for all nine of season four’s upcoming episodes which are:

  • Vecna’s Curse
  • The Monster and The Superhero
  • Dear Billy
  • The Nina Project
  • The Dive
  • The Massacre At Hawkins Lab
  • Papa
  • The Piggyback

Series creators The Duffer Brothers previously told Entertainment Weekly what we can expect from the central premise of the new season:

“Hopper is imprisoned far from home in the snowy wasteland of Kamchatka, Russia, where he will face dangers both human… and other. Meanwhile, back in the States, a new horror is beginning to surface, something long-buried, something that connects everything…”
