The end of an era.
The Big Bang Theory was a divisive show, to say the least.
On one hand, the show had millions of devout fans, who absolutely loved tuning in every week to see what antics the gang of lovable nerds would get up to.
On the other, many felt that the jokes were a bit basic, and that the punchline was often just the fact that the lads were nerds in a world where nerds are not cool.
But what is undeniable is that the show was a massive success, and after 12 seasons and 12 years, the show came to an end on Thursday night.
We’re not going to spoil the entire ending for you, as we’d imagine that most viewers in Ireland are still yet to see the show’s finale, but there is one detail that fans of the show will be happy to see.
After almost 300 episodes, the elevator in the now famous apartment complex that they spend all their time in, finally worked.
It doesn’t sound like it should be an emotional scene, but we can expect that the most die-hard fans of the show would shed a tear after seeing such an iconic moment.
Bazinga.
