Claustrophobic tension, you say?
Welcome to #TRAILERCHEST, where we’re taking a look at the brand new trailer for The Lodge.
Who doesn’t love a good horror movie?
The year is still young and peak horror season – October-ish, you’d think – is still some ways away, but we can still get excited about what’s to come.
The Lodge looks to continue in the tradition of slow-burning scares like Hereditary and The VVitch, with lots of low lighting, mysterious strangers, religious overtones and claustrophobic tension.
Plot’s it all about?
A soon-to-be stepmom is snowed in with her fiancé’s two children at a remote holiday village.
Just as relations begin to thaw between the trio, some strange and frightening events take place.
Starring: Riley Keough, Richard Armitage, Alicia Silverstone
Directed by: Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala
Irish release date: Unconfirmed, but The Lodge hits American cinemas in ‘fall’ so hopefully around autumn, then…
Enjoy…
