It’s hard to imagine anyone other than Tom Vaughan-Lawlor in the role of Nidge, but Charlie Hunnam is the bookies favourite to step into his shoes for the American version of Love/Hate.
Hunman opted out of playing Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades film, but Paddy Power have installed him as favourite to land the role for the US version of the hit show.
The bookmaker revealed that Hunnam is number one in the eyes of the public followed closely by Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul.

As for the other main characters, Aidan Gillen has been tipped to reprise his role of John Boy Power while Ian Somerhalder and Nicholas Hoult are among those named to step into Robert Sheehan’s shoes as Darren.
“They say crime doesn’t pay but with a fourth series in the pipeline and a potential US remake in the pipeline it’s fair to say that the Love/Hate gang are an exception to that rule,” a spokesperson for Paddy Power said.
