The Oscars on TV: Here’s where you can watch tonight’s ceremony

Are you going to stay up?

Are you going to stay up?

The Oscars will be held tonight and we’re fully expecting the internet to break at least four times with selfies, cock-ups and all sorts of nonsense about who some B-list actress is wearing (us neither).

Still, some great films are under consideration and we’re looking forward to seeing who comes out on top between instant classics like Birdman, Boyhood and The Grand Budapest Hotel.

In Ireland, you can catch the build-up (i.e. red carpet arse-kissing) on the E! entertainment channel from 10.30pm, or just go straight to the main course on pop-up channel Sky Oscars at 1am.

This is available on UPC: 307 | Sky: 304, for the uninitiated.

Meanwhile, check out this excellent compilation of moments from this year’s Best Director nominees…
