Twelve years we've waited for this moment. Twelve long years.
But on Sunday July 24 2016 that
Robot Wars-shaped void in all of our lives was finally filled.
Inevitably, it wasn't quite the same as it was the last time it graced our television screens in the early 2000s but Jonathan Pearce was still about, however. Just as we were starting to forget that he was anything other than a football commentator, his uncontrollable excitement reminded us just how much better he is at describing a bunch of robots kicking the metallic shit out of each other.

Obviously, we were all much younger when Robot Wars was last on. Some of us were even kids, sitting cross-legged on our parents' living room floor gawping at it open-mouthed on a non-flat TV.
