Blair Witch is back, and it's looking more terrifying than ever...
The first trailer for the new Blair Witch sequel is here, and once again some students are off to the woods to do some ill-advised snooping.
The plot IMDb explains is as follows; "
After discovering a video showing what he believes to be his sister's experiences in the demonic woods of the Blair Witch, James and a group of friends head to the forest in search of his lost sibling."
From the looks of this trailer, James might have been better off leaving things lie.

Blair Witch will bring back the series trademark's found footage jump-scares, weird locales and dark scenes (sometimes literally, does no one bring a proper torch to these adventures?), but things are looking a lot more grisly in this edition.
Rather than have you wonder if the story was real, like in the original 1999 Blair Witch Project film, the new 2016 sequel only has one thing on its mind - making you shit yourself in terror.
Pretty admirable goal to be honest.
Releasing in the US on 16 September and headed to the UK and Ireland soon after, count us in for another unsettling trip to the cinema.
