The world's Top 10 highest-paid actors have been revealed

It's official.

Robert Downey Jr is the highest paid actor in the world thanks to his marvellous Marvel appearances, earning a cool $80 million in the past 12 months.

This is the actor's third year topping the list, which is compiled by Forbes.

It seems stars such as Leonardo DiCaprio and Johnny Depp just can't catch a break after being edged out of the Top 10 by Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan, who muscled in with big salaries.

The Top 10 highest-paid actors for 2015 are as follows:

1. Robert Downey Jr - $80m

2. Jackie Chan - $50m

3. Vin Diesel - $47m

4. Bradley Cooper - $41.5m

5. Adam Sandler - $41m

6. Tom Cruise - $40m

7. Amitabh Bachchan - $33.5m

8. Salman Khan - $33.5m

9. Ashay Kumar - $32.5m

10. Mark Whalberg - $32m
