“There’s no cure for being a cunt.” And with that incredible remark, Ser Bronn of the Blackwater instantly cemented his reputation as one of – if not THE – greatest character in Game of Thrones.
Truth be told, we’ve always got a soft spot for the rogues and fiends – check out this similar tribute to The Hound if you’re looking for another laugh – and Bronn has consistently proven himself to be one of the best fighters in the realm.
That’s not all though because his one-liners are arguably sharper than the blades he uses to kill people.
Who else could perfectly define why everyone in the Seven Kingdoms is fighting for the Iron Throne? After all, Bronn’s argument that everything comes down to having a cock is pretty fool proof. He’s clearly the smartest man in the Lannister army.
Then again, as he said to Jaime “That’s like saying I have a bigger cock than anyone in the Unsullied army.”
Speaking of the Kingslayer, just like his little brother Tyrion, Jaime owes Bronn a massive debt because he’d 1) be a pile of dust after Drogon nearly incinerated him beside the lake, 2) drown in that lake, if Bronn didn’t intervene.
Poor Bronn, despite managing to clip Drogon’s wing with the scorpion crossbow, he still lost all his gold when Dany and the Dothraki attacked.
Well, if there’s any justice, he’ll get the castle that he has been promised because as this highlight reel proves, he’s an absolute hero.
