The Thor movies had failed to quite match up to the rest of the MCU in terms of quality, but all of that changed with Thor: Ragnarok, which critics absolutely adored, and it went on to bank over $850 million.
The addition of new director Taika Waititi obviously helped an awful lot, as did the injection of a fantastic new set of supporting characters, played by the likes of Cate Blanchett, Mark Ruffallo, Tessa Thompson and Karl Urban.
However, anyone who has seen the movie will know just how much of a scene-stealer Jeff Goldblum was.
Playing a God-like Gladiator-competition organiser on a planet of garbage, he never seemed to be entirely aligned to the level of reality as everyone else, and his delivery of the dialogue was just so perfectly hilarious, we wanted even more of his character and performance.
So, you'll be happy to hear that is exactly what you're getting with the deleted scenes
In the first, it is an extended version of the scene in which Goldblum is still introducing himself to Thor, and talks to his "cousin" about the crimes he's recently been up to:
In the second, The Grandmaster is having a chat with Loki and Valkyrie, and in the midst of it, gets into a long chat with his second-in-command about what a particular hand signal means.
We'd venture a guess that this wasn't in the actual script, because it feels like a pure Goldblum moment, allowed off the comedic leash.
