For all you Tintin fans out there – good news. The sequel is on its way in 2015… not too long to wait really.

Peter Jackson has been hugely busy of late. With The Hobbit under wraps he is set to turn his skills to making the Tintin sequel. The first movie had Jackson in the producer’s chair, with Steven Spielberg directing, but this time around the pair have decided to swap chairs with Jackson directing and Spielberg producing.
The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn, was released in 2011, so it’s quite a while to wait four years for the next installment. The movie was made with performance capture, where the actor’s motions are recorded with sensors and then transferred into animation to make for more realistic facial expressions and movement.
Jackson plans to shoot the new Tintin movie along with continuing post-production of The Hobbit. Lets hope he doesn’t get the two stories confused.
Andy Serkis, of Gollum fame, will return as Captain Haddock, while Jamie Bell is set to reprise the role of Tintin.
