The Voice UK returned to our TVs on Saturday night, with Tom Jones, Jennifer Hudson, will.i.am, and Olly Murs back in the revolving judges chairs.
Across a night of some seriously impressive talent, the one blind audition that had everyone talking was when Peter Donegan came out on stage and performed the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band's iconic hit 'Bless The Broken Road'.
Out of the four judges, only Tom Jones turned for the singer, and following a brief conversation, they soon discovered that Peter is the son Lonnie Donegan.
On top of having a very successful career of his own, Lonnie also wrote 'I'll Never Fall In Love Again', which Tom Jones then released as a single back in 1967, and it went on to become a huge hit.
Having been taken on to Tom's team, the judge then asked Peter if he would be up for a duet of his dad's song, and Peter jumped at the chance, sitting by the piano, with Tom on vocals for the first verse and chorus before Peter joined in to finish the song.
With Peter's family in tears on the sidelines for the very unique family reunion, as well as the rest of the judges completely blown away by the performance, it was definitely a huge highlight for the new season of the show.
