This movie looks deadly, in more ways than one…
Lone Survivor is a war pic based on the true story of ‘Operation Red Wings’, a failed US Navy SEAL Team mission that took place in the Pech District of Afghanistan's Kunar Province, on the slopes of a mountain named Sawtalo Sar back in 2005. The movie follows a team of four Navy SEALs, Lieutenant Michael P. Murphy, Petty Officer Second Class Danny P. Dietz, Petty Officer Second Class Matthew G. Axelson and Navy Hospital Corpsman Second Class Marcus Luttrell, as they attempt to capture or kill notorious Taliban leader, Ahmad Shahd.
