WATCH: The new trailer for Season 9 of Curb Your Enthusiasm is as delightfully awkward as ever

Welcome back, Larry.

Curb Your Enthusiasm

Featuring Bryan Cranston giving Larry therapy and much, much more in the trailer for the new season of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

After a six-year wait since Season 8 finished in 2011, one of the funniest TV shows since the turn of the millennium returns for a ninth series next month.

And, fans of the show will be delighted to know, nothing has changed.

Judging by the full-length trailer for the new season, Larry will continue to get overly-irritated by the mildest of day-to-day frustrations and maintain his habit of breaking the most delicate of social taboos and upsetting a lot of people in the process.

In the season ahead, for example, we can look forward to him telling a mourner at a funeral to shut up, addressing the issue of constipation in the workplace and get thrown spectacularly off a bus for reasons unknown.

Regular characters Jeff and Susie, Leon, Funkhouser and Richard Lewis are back, while Bryan Cranston is amongst the special guests for what looks like another season of Curb Your Enthusiasm brilliance, which has been sorely missed in the last six years.

Season 9 of Curb Your Enthusiasm premieres on HBO on Sunday, October 1.
