April 29th can’t come quickly enough.
If you watched the most recent episode of the Graham Norton Show then you’ll know that Ricky Gervais and Eric Bana are a match made in comedy heaven and the most recent clip from their new movie Special Correspondents, a new Netflix original feature film, definitely backs that up.
In the film, Bana plays Frank Bonneville, a charismatic New York based radio journalist whose arrogance and decadent lifestyle has hindered his career. With his job on the line, Bonneville is dispatched to Ecuador along with his hapless technician, Ian Finch (Gervais), to report on a potential rebel coup. As you can imagine, things don’t go according to plan.
Special Correspondents boasts an incredibly impressive supporting cast with Vera Farmiga playing Finch’s wife, Kelly Macdonald as their good-hearted radio reporter colleague while Claire Maddox, Kevin Pollak and America Ferrera also feature.
