Between this and It, we've got a great summer for horrors ahead of us.
Welcome to #TrailerChest, where we're taking a sneak peek at the brand new trailer for Annabelle: Creation.Plot's it all about?:
Set before the events of the first Annabelle movie, and before The Conjuring which introduced us to the evil doll in the first place, this takes us right back to how the creepy plaything became so demonic in the first place.
We've got the usual suspects - a creepy orphanage, grieving parents, a vulnerable little girl - but much like the far-better-than-the-original Ouija: Origin Of Evil, the scare factor looks like it will blow the (admit it) not very good first Annabelle movie out of the water.
A lot of that has got to come down to the fact that they've hired the director of the superbly creepy Lights Out to take over the series, while the script is coming from the same guy who wrote the upcoming remake to It, as well as The Nun, which as another The Conjuring spin-off, telling the story of the very scary evil lady who was the big bad guy in The Conjuring 2.
Starring: Miranda Otto, Anthony LaPaglia, Javier Botet.
Director: David F. Sandberg
Irish release date: 11 August 2017
