Welcome to #TrailerChest, where we’re taking a sneak peek at the brand new trailer for Annabelle Comes Home.
Plot’s it all about?
The sorta-sequel to both the Annabelle movies and The Conjuring movies looks like it takes place entirely within the house of The Warrens (aka Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, ghost hunters!), after they take off for the night and leave their young daughter with a babysitter.
Of course, that babysitter has more curiosity than sense, and even though she seems aware of what the Warrens do in their spare time, she still breaks into their room of horrors, and sets Annabelle free, who then sets every other evil item and demon free, too.
Described as a horror version of Night At The Museum, it does look like Annabelle has helped release some truly scary new additions to the Conjuring universe – which already gave us The Nun, and the upcoming Crooked Man – with a special shout out to that jump-scare involving the demon with coins on their eyes.
You’ll know it when you see it.
Also, a trailer for Annabelle Comes Home was accidentally played in front of a kids movie just a few weeks ago, and left the entire audience of children (and some adults too, we’re sure) in tears from the fear.
And if that isn’t a case of “No such thing as bad publicity”, then we don’t know what is!
